“The Music Lesson” was created by Gail Nogle of Dallas, Texas, back in 2001 for the Crystal Charity Ball. Her objective was to come up with creative photographs with children to be used to represent the gift they had received from the Crystal Charity Ball. The Old Red Courthouse in downtown Dallas, the setting for the images, was completely empty with wide open spaces, high arched windows, and 15 foot ceilings. “It was a photographer’s dream,” she recalls.
