“Opulence” was created by Kenny Richard in 2023 for Christine Gee, of Gee Interiors, at a stunning home in Southlake, Texas. Kenny and Christine had worked together for over four years, photographing beautifully designed spaces. Kenny captured this image using natural light with his Canon R6 Mark II and an RF 14-35mm lens, using a circular polarizer to reduce reflections and bring out the texture and color. Post-production workflow began with Lightroom, where he used HDR Merge to blend multiple exposures for balanced light throughout the room. From there, he exported the image to Photoshop for fine-tuning to make sure the final image looked polished and true to the space.
