The iHeart Photography Conference & Expo returns to Grapevine, Texas, on October 13-15, 2023, at the Grapevine Convention Center in the heart of Dallas/Fort Worth. This annual conference features three days of programming for professional photographers and photographic enthusiasts. Programs are offered to foster photographic creativity and inspiration as well as to improve photographic skills and camera technique. iHeart 2023 is sponsored by the Texas Professional Photographers Association in cooperation with Arlington Camera and others.

Some of the programming includes Maria Arellano, sponsored by ProPrints and Homespun Heart, who will present an all-day program on Saturday on “Social Media Strategies for Photographers.” Then, on Sunday, she will talk about “Creative Concepts and Artistic Posing.”

Mark Sykes will take the stage on Friday, speaking on “Four Game-Changing Secrets” that will revolutionize your portrait studio business.

Bill Vahrenkamp will demonstrate “Printing In-House and On-Location” on Sunday morning and Lyne Raff, who has been featured in The Photographer Magazine and on Texas Country Reporter, will share how she has made “Photographing Bugs” a new art form.

Terri Butler returns again this year with a painting workshop on “Feathers and Fur” that begins on Friday afternoon and continues all day on Saturday. There will be others,
so check iHeartPhotography.org for updates.

One of the main attractions of the iHeart Photo Conference is the Trade Show. Bill Porter, of Arlington Camera, will once again be bringing manufacturing representatives from a number of major vendors, and they will be joined by a host of others. Best of all, the Trade Show is included in your iHeart Photography registration and non-attendees can get a special “trade show only” pass by simply going to iHeartPhotography.org.
