The Photographer Magazine
Illustrated articles have a better chance of being published because illustrations attract the attention of the reader, although both illustrated and non-illustrated are accepted. Articles with between 1000 and 2,000 words and with between 2 and 5 illustrations are ideal. Be sure that your illustrations are no smaller than 5×7 at 300ppi or no smaller than 2,000 pixels on the longest side, and are of professional quality. Please, no more than 4 images per 1,000 word count. Readers enjoy articles that demonstrate innovative and interesting ideas and/or technique and articles that provide interesting ways to increase sales and/or efficiency.
We accept Word, PDF or you may copy/paste your text in an email. Illustrations should be JPEG attachments. Remember, you do not have to be a writer. We will edit as needed and you still receive 2 TPPA Fellowship Points for an illustrated article and 1 for a non-illustrated article if it is published.
