For more than five decades, TPPA SummerFest has been a traditional family-friendly event for photographers, and Kerrville and the Inn of the Hills is where it all began. Generations of TPPA members return year after year to take in the rustic beauty of the Texas Hill Country and all it has to offer. It is both a learning experience and a relaxing vacation for the entire family. Bring your camera and photograph with these outstanding photographic artists as they work with you to help you level up your imagery and expand your creativity.
SummerFest 2025 offers three days of outstanding photographic education, unparalleled networking and Texas-sized fun you do not want to miss! SummerFest is a premier educational event for photographers who want to elevate their craft while enjoying a laid-back social setting. This year’s event hosts a world of talent in one neatly packaged event. Sabrina Casas will be sharing how to create successful business models for real estate photography and Dawn Muncy will be sharing ideas and concepts that you can put into place right away to increase your bottom line.
There are also two outstanding Pre-Convention workshops featuring Terri Butler on Advanced Photoshop Compositing and Teri Whittaker on Hands-On Floral Photography. Learn from these outstanding photographic artists as they work with you to help you level up your imagery and expand your creativity.
Perhaps the best part of SummerFest is spending evenings around the pool catching up with old friends and making new ones. The Inn of the Hills Hotel and Conference Center is like a vacation in itself. Rustic native stone architecture and custom ironwork enhance the beautiful courtyard and pool area, creating a nostalgic, relaxing getaway. With a 21,000 square-foot conference center, a full-service restaurant, pub with live music on the weekends, and the Guadalupe River and park within walking distance, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
