“The Ice Queen” was created by Rachel Owen of Chicago, Illinois, for the 2022 Pro Prints Billboard Campaign. Her goal was to design something bold and eye-catching that would grab attention from a distance. The model, an amazing figure skater, was photographed with the dog in the studio on a green screen. The background was built from photos taken at the Ice Castles in Wisconsin and pieced together to create the cave-like look. The image won first place in Fashion at the Icon Awards.
